Officials
The process for training new Timekeepers and Judges has now moved online. Courses are available from the Institute of Swimming to get you started as a Time keeper, and to progress to cover the theory element of Judge Level 1.
Following the online courses, you will be issued with a workbook for poolside mentoring. This may be completed during your attendance at Licensed Meets where a Referee is present, and is ultimately signed off by a licensed referee (there is no longer a final practical assessment).

J2 and J2s courses
East Region has updated their website with the latest list of dates for J2 and J2s courses.
Please do advertise these around your club officials who wish to continue their officiating journey and take the next level of training.
All courses are run virtually and any official registered with a Club in East Region may attend any date. If you are from a London Region club your officials may attend the course dates run by Essex only.
Please remember that your officials must meet the requirement of 20 hours post-qualification poolside experience before moving on to the next level.
