Coming soon… Wavepower 2020-2023
Wavepower, Swim England’s Child Safeguarding Policy and Procedures manual, is being updated.
The latest version will be released in March 2020 and all Swim England-affiliated clubs will receive one copy of Wavepower free of charge.
Coiniciding with the launch of Wavepower, there will be a new and improved child safeguarding area on the Swim England website.
Here you will find a digital version of Wavepower, advice for parents, links to useful child safeguarding resources for clubs and young people and contact information.
We are delighted to announce that our National Youth Advisory Panel has produced two new resources for our members under the age of 18.
These pocked-sized guides aim to make our sports a safe, enjoyable and fun environment by providing our young members with simple advice on who to contact if they need to talk to someone.
A sample of these guides will be sent out with the updated version of Wavepower alongside instructions for clubs on how to obtain further copies.
Please continue to use Wavepower 2016-19 until the new document is launched. We will be in touch when it has been published.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to get in touch by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
