Club Constitutions
Please make sure that your constitutions are consistent with the Swim England model constitution at http://www.swimming.org/swimengland/tag/ways-to-set-up-a-club/ and has been approved by both an annual general meeting of the club and, on behalf of the Region, Jean Cook Affiliations Officer (affiliations.officer@londonswimming.org).
Please send copies of your approved constitution to Jean.
London Region County Conference 2018
The London Region together with Swim England will be running a County Conference open to all Level 1 / Assistant Coaches on Saturday 10th March 2018 at the Lodge, Crystal Palace National Sports Centre. Consultation on the Future of Crystal Palace
We have been advised that the GLA will be organisation an event on 12 February which is specially for swimming. Counties, clubs, leagues and networks that use the centre will want to be represented and express their views of the proposals (which we haven’t seen as yet).
GLL Foundation
The GLL Sport Foundation is an athlete focussed support programme providing athletes across the UK with tangible support to aid their sports performance, support includes training membership access to over three hundred venues across the UK, access to physio and injury rehab support and financial awards up to the value of £1,250. Applications for athletes are open until 20th February 2018 via the website portal – www.gllsportfoundation.org
