Due to a rapid expansion of the club’s membership, Brentwood Swimming Club are looking to recruit a new member of the coaching team who will be helping to develop the swim stars of tomorrow. This is an exciting opportunity to help the club achieve its aim of continuing to improve at all levels of competition.
The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, committed and hard-working and prepared to go the extra mile to ensure that all swimmers (typically aged 9 to 12) get the necessary grounding in technique and skills at an early age. Whilst it would be preferred if the successful candidate already possesses formal coaching qualifications, the club are willing to take on the right candidate and then put him/her through both level one and level two Swim England coaching awards. In the case where applicants do not hold coaching qualifications, they must have previous experience in competitive swimming. The successful applicant must be initially available for a minimum of 7 hours regular coaching per week (rising to 10 hours once fully qualified) plus coverage of other squads as and when required, so a flexible approach would be beneficial.
Pay will be in line with qualifications held or gained, and subject to negotiation.
For an informal discussion on the role, please contact Paul Eveleigh, Head Coach on 07581 485990 and for applications please send CV to chairman Ian Wallace at firstname.lastname@example.org
Applications need to be received by Friday 24th August 2018.
