London Region are excited to announce the dates of their 2018 Regional Swimming Talent Development Camps taking place at Trinity School Croydon. These Camps form stage two in the overall Swim England swimming development programme, following on from the County Development Camps.
The Regional camps are targeted at those swimmers aged 12 in the year of competition; so for 2018 this will be those swimmers born in 2006. For our region of London, 36 swimmers will be selected – with an even split across the genders. These swimmers will be selected post the Regional Age Group Championships 2018, based on long course rankings.
Swimmers who hope to be selected should keep the following dates free so that they are able to attend all three dates.

Coaching and Teaching in Clubs
It is vital for the future of our sport that participants are confident in the quality of activities offered by Swim England affiliated organisations.  It is also very important that clubs, administrators, coaches and teachers have the peace of mind that they are covered by appropriate insurance.
The following statement and guidance covers Swim England’s expectations of clubs in relation to the level of coaching and teaching in all disciplines in the club environment.  This is also the standard that is required by our insurers in relation to a club’s liability insurance.See more HERE

Volunteering and Swim England Membership
Please note that anyone who volunteers for their Club needs to be registered as a Category 3 member with Swim England, unless they are registered already as a Cat 2 member. This applies to all Volunteers regardless of whether they are on the Club Committee or not.
