London Region News

The latest news from London Swimming:

Does your club want to develop and improve, gain access to funding streams and gain the Clubmark accreditation for Aquatics recognised by Sport England?

The ASA and London Swimming want to ensure our Aquatics Clubs protect themselves for the future. We are seeing more and more local authorities and leisure providers asking for clubs to attain the swim21 Essential Club accreditation before hiring the facilities – even if you have been hiring the same pool space for many years!

In order to protect your club, come and along to our FREE training day to find out more about the accreditation and how to complete it online! We will guide you through the 16 element process, which is now all online and lasts for 2 years, with a simple annual ‘health check’ each year.

Date: Sunday 27th November 2016
Time: 10am-2pm (each person can stay for 1hour or 4 hours – it’s up to you how long you need to get started!)
Venue: Blackfriars Settlement, 1 Rushworth Street, London (nearest tube is Southwark on the Jubilee line)

To book your club a place, please download the booking form here and return to londonbookings@swimming.org – places are limited so please book NOW to avoid disappointment!
