  • There are plenty of places left at the Coach Development Day on the 27th November at Culford School. The ASA England Programmes Team are leading on the day with SCUK and the themes are ‘Considerations for Coaching Females’ and ‘Managing Challenging Behaviour’. Please note these two themes are not linked in any way !? A booking form can be downloaded from HERE. This day is aimed at all levels of coaches and is relevant for all disciplines.
  • We have put out to advert the opportunity for some coaches to join us on our first Regional team going to an International Meet. We are heading to Edinburgh 10th– 13th March 2017.  We are specifically looking for some development coaches looking to come along and support the team over the event, and at the same time learning from the experience themselves. The region will cover all accommodation, transport and food costs during the event. More information can be found HERE. Deadline for interest is midday 22nd

  • Sport England has launched a new Code for Sports Governance sets out the levels of transparency, accountability and financial integrity expected of sports organisations.  The code is mandatory for organisations seeking funding from Sport England or UK Sport, regardless of size and sector, including national governing bodies of sport, clubs, charities and local authorities.  https://www.sportengland.org/code/
  • The new online Introduction to Para-Swimming CPD is complete and has been accredited by the ASA Awarding Body.  This CPD has been developed with the clubs team and the Para-Swimming manager and is part of the Swim 21 accreditation.  This product will replace the current online Introduction to Disability CPD.
