Basildon and Phoenix Swimming Club trains in the brand-new 50m swimming pool at the Basildon Sporting Village, and has approximately 200 competitive swimmers, with a strong Masters division of the Club and a very successful Water Polo section.
They are seeking an innovative, enthusiastic Head Coach, qualified and licensed to ASA Coach Level 3, (although applications would be considered from Coaches qualified to Level 2 who are willing to undertake the Level 3 qualification) who can build on the successes we have enjoyed in recent years, and take the Club forward, both on and off poolside.
The successful applicant will have at least three year’s coaching experience and have a proven track record in developing and implementing club swimming programmes of the highest standards. The new Head Coach will need to be able to work effectively with our coaches, swimmers and volunteers be IT literate and continuously strive to improve the Club’s performance, in all areas.
This position is subject to an enhanced CRB clearance.
