Following on from her win in the 200m Butterfly at the European Junior Championships in Belgrade, Elena Sheridan broke her own 200m Fly British Junior Record when winning the Commonwealth Youth Games on the Isle of Man on 10th September 2011.
On another typical English summers day, 62 Essex Swimmers were due to take part in the East Region Open Water championships at the Whitlingham Outdoor centre in Norwich, contested by over 320 swimmers in all. Congratulations to the following swimmers who have been selected to represent Essex at this years Inter Counties Team Championship in Sheffield on Sunday 16th October. We wish them well at the competition.
