Message from  Chris Stephens, ASA East Region water polo manager re FINA Rules of water polo:

I’ve had several queries about where to get a copy of the rules. You can buy a book from the ASA but here’s an easier solution. The attached PDF contains the official rules as well as proper photos to illustrate key points (rather than the line drawings you may have seen in other versions).

Want to know more? Then come along to next Saturday’s course where Chris Freebury will explain everything you ever wanted to know. Why didn’t the ref give “ball under”? Why didn’t the pit defender get a major when he pushed you under? All this and more will be revealed on the day, so print out a copy and bring it with you.
