Officials qualifications
ECASA - SWIMMING OFFICIALS
A full record of Swimming Officials in the
County (and their qualifications) is
maintained by and is available upon request
from
Kay McGuire.
The records identify:
(a) Registered Technical Officials eligible
to officiate at all Region, County and Open
events
(b) Non-registered Technical Officials
eligible to officiate only at other
competitions (e.g. Club championships)
Officials are added to the County List only
after passing the written examinations as
set by the A.S.A. and related practical
tests.
Event organisers frequently seek Swimming
Officials as without their assistance
competitions may not be able to continue. If
you would like this competitive sport to
survive, why not put something back into it
by becoming an official and then assisting
ECASA clubs on the poolside.
